Name of the project: Grassroots Activation Through Education- GATE Project
Aims of the project: The project will support self-improvement of the women, young people and children living in the rural areas of the big city who lost their hopes for future, with the help of a training program which will respond to the social, economic and cultural needs of this population; and as a consequence will contribute to sustainable development planned for the district.
Target group and the number beneficiaries:
• Women residents of Altındağ Municipality, district of İskender Paşa who are between 20-40 and approximately 500 of whom are unemployed
• 0-12 years-old 250 children
• 18-25 years old 100 young people

GRUNDTVIG 2006 AWARD TEAM PROJECT WAS GIVEN THE GRUNDTVIG 2006 AWARD BY THE EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF THE EDUCATION FOR ADULTS-EAEA ON 18TH NOVEMBER IN AVILES- SPAIN DURING THE EAEA’S GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF 2006 AND THE AWARD CEREMONY. IN ADDITION, TEAM PROJECT WAS SELECTED AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PROJECT AMONG THE OTHER GRUNDTVIG 2 PROJECTS THAT CONDUCTED BETWEEN 2005-2006-TIME PERIODS BY THE CENTER OF EUROPEAN UNION EDUCATION AND YOUTH PROGRAMMES (TURKISH NATIONAL AGENCY). Training activities Training activities of HYDRA for the period 2006-2007 will be commencing on October 2006. Socrates/Grundtvig2 Learning Partnership Evaluation Results Socrates / Grundtvig 2 Learning Partnership Evaluation Results were announced. PASS: Personal Access for People with Migrant Background Project by the partnership of HYDRA was granted by Turkish National Agency.
