Name of the Project: Women Health Organization Through Service and Education (WHOM) Project
Aims of the Project: With WHOM we aim at going beyond traditional understanding of health and developing a model which foresees the participation of individuals in the development of heath strategies and policies. Through the services to be delivered in the pilot region within the scope of the project, we will remind the population of their rights and responsibilities about reproductive health and measure the gains achieved in information, attitude and behaviours in the reproductive health related rights and responsibilities by making a comparison between the conditions before and after the project.
Target group and the number beneficiaries: Target group of the action consists of 3000 people living in İskender Paşa Quarter of Aksaray District of Fatih Municipality in Istanbul.
a) Direct Beneficiaries:
-Women between the ages of 15-49 who belong to lowest socio-cultural level
-Babies between the ages of 0-1
b) Indirect Beneficiaries: Husbands of the women benefiting directly from the action, health personnel, members of local government, religious leaders, teachers and community leaders who serve in the region and who can directly or indirectly contribute to public health

GRUNDTVIG 2006 AWARD

TEAM PROJECT WAS GIVEN THE GRUNDTVIG 2006 AWARD BY THE EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF THE EDUCATION FOR ADULTS-EAEA ON 18TH NOVEMBER IN AVILES- SPAIN DURING THE EAEA’S GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF 2006 AND THE AWARD CEREMONY. IN ADDITION, TEAM PROJECT WAS SELECTED AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PROJECT AMONG THE OTHER GRUNDTVIG 2 PROJECTS THAT CONDUCTED BETWEEN 2005-2006-TIME PERIODS BY THE CENTER OF EUROPEAN UNION EDUCATION AND YOUTH PROGRAMMES (TURKISH NATIONAL AGENCY).


Training activities
Training activities of HYDRA for the period 2006-2007 will be commencing on October 2006.
Socrates/Grundtvig2 Learning Partnership Evaluation Results
Socrates / Grundtvig 2 Learning Partnership Evaluation Results were announced. PASS: Personal Access for People with Migrant Background Project by the partnership of HYDRA was granted by Turkish National Agency.
